From welcoming friends and family to my home, to everyone’s favorite minor Mexican holiday, I had plenty to celebrate at my fiesta style housewarming – and perfect weather to do so! My beautiful home was an amazing place to host such a Cinco de Mayo event that, I think, takes the cake (or cactus!) among housewarmings. I knew I wanted it to be a fun and vibrant gathering but did not want to go the traditional route of pinatas and cheesy mustaches. The fiesta theme I came up with was lively and upscale, and also fit my personality.
I partnered with a number of talented people who made the party a success. There was even a custom, traditional-with-a-twist Mexican menu, and all the fare was delicious! A gorgeous balloon installation by FuncSean really made a colorful statement. And of course, to capture it all, Doivoux Photography. In short, the party was: family, friends, food, drinks, and fun. Needless to say, it was a blast!
