Hi Ya’ll,

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding in West Palm Beach, FL and I had such a great time! 

The couple- Joe and Massey had an amazing Havana Nights themed wedding that was beautiful, unique to them, and full of love. It was certainly an evening to remember.

There were many details that I found captivating from the amazing florals, to the awesome DJ. However, one of my absolute (aside from the decor obviously) favorite elements was the phenomenal and unique food selection.

Where it all began 

Ok, let me rewind a bit. Joe and Massey are two fun and hip millennials that met via, you guessed it, the internet. They could be the poster children for match.com. Their first date was at a quiet craft beer bar in Miami. Little did they know it would be first of many! Joe proposed in the pouring rain to Masy while they were on vacation in Panama. The rest is history.

The Ceremony 

So back to the wedding. Held on February 23, 2019. The couple selected a fabulous ceremony location, Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in Palm Beach. It was literally perfect. The ceremony was held outside in the garden complete with a view of the water.

The ceremony was such a joy to witness! Masy is Cuban so it was fitting that they had a bi-lingual officiant to translate. The colors were a blush pink (my fave) and navy! I honestly can’t mention enough how in love I was with the florals. 

The Reception

Lastly, Joe and Masy said I do and were pronounced husband and wife.  Now it was time for the real party to begin! We felt so official as they had security to check each guests name as they entered. Uniquely, here is where the delicious food I mentioned comes in. There was a wonderful charcuterie spread, open bar, and get this taco, and grilled cheese stations for the cocktail hour. YES, you read that correctly for the cocktail hour. I couldn’t have been more impressed. 

Following the cocktail hour the couple enjoyed their first dance and Joe even had video footage to present to Masy of a few important guests that were unable to attend. Moreover, it was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. 

For dinner we enjoyed a fabulous spread of authentic Cuban fare. Then it was time to get the party started. The DJ was awesome and played a variety of fun hip hop and latin music. 

I literally had the best time and can’t wait for everything the future has in store for Joe and Masy!
