Hi, y’all!
Soooo, I know we just finished up Thanksgiving last week but I’m simply dying to share this Christmas dinner! I can’t hold in my excitement for Christmas, Christmas trees, and holiday decor. I know I am leaping ahead to next year but I also can’t wait to create my holiday collection of themes for The Scarlett Collection! Next year I am looking forward to Halloween, Hanukah, Christmas, and NYE editions. Stay tuned.
Now, back to business. I absolutely looovvve the holidays so I was thrilled when a client of mine and I joined together to create a fabulous holiday dinner for the executives of her husband’s company. To date it has been one of my most favorite events to coordinate.
My client and I browsed through some awesome inspo pics and she favored a simple, traditional look so that’s what we went with! We included an array of decor elements in each room.
We started with an hour for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. This event was super small and intimate, which really gave the guests a chance to truly mingle and enjoy. We used Dennis Dean, a well known Atlanta catering company.
Lastly, anyone who knows me knows that I am absolutely obsessed with fab charcuterie displays. Dennis Dean provided just that. Guests also enjoyed a plated dinner that featured a baby kale salad, herb-grilled filet of beef accompanied by duchess potatoes, roasted rainbow carrots, cremini mushrooms, and a bordelaise sauce. The decadent meal was finished with a dessert that featured delicious Kahlua sticky toffee pudding topped with a pine nut brittle.
Check out the photos from the Christmas dinner, below!
Stay warm, my friends. It’s been so dreary and chilly here in Atlanta! What do you have planned for the holidays? Do you prefer traditional décor or non-traditional décor?
xoxo,
Morgan K.
