Hey y’all!
A client booked me to help plan a fabulous and fun birthday party for her four year-old twins. The Avengers party was a huge success and my client was absolutely awesome to work with. We spent about a month and a half planning all of the details.
At the front entrance of the home was a personalized sign that read “Jack and Kyle are Four” accompanied by two large (huge!) circular red balloons — very simple but it had great impact.
Next, we placed cut outs of the logo for each Avenger to line the walkway from the entrance of the home to the basement where the party was being held.
We rented the cutest little mini chairs from one of our fave vendors, Sweet Seats, in red and white, with tables that were just the right size for the tiny guests. Each place setting included navy blue cutlery, a large red and white plate, and a smaller blue plate with a white star placed on top. The centerpieces for each table were candy bouquets in cute red/white popcorn holders.
I love a good dessert table and thus went all out in this area for the Avengers party. We included handmade fluffy clouds that we hung at varying heights (see tutorial here). I used some black paper to frame the backdrop. I loved the frame because it gave it that extra special touch. There was every dessert imaginable. A fabulous superhero cake, delicious cookies, Sixlets, gum balls, marshmallow Hulk pops, lollipops, rock candy, and candy sticks.
For fun and activities, the children enjoyed a bounce house, face painting, and live superheros!
A few of the other details included:
- Life size cut outs of Hulk, Captain America, and Iron Man
- Personalized mini water bottles
- Personalized backdrop for the dessert table
- Adults-only Hulk punch
- Balloon bouquets
- Personalized superhero letters that read “Jack and Kyle”, to accent the candy bouquet centerpieces
Coordinating this party was an absolute BLAST. Check out the photos below.
What are some of your favorite themes for kids parties? I’m currently obsessing over the modern Mickey Mouse theme; it’s the cutest.
