I recently restarted my weight-loss journey (more on that to come in the coming weeks).
Here’s the dilemma: it’s often a tiny bit difficult to have an awesome and romantic dinner that is ALSO healthy. And here’s where I come in. My goal was to create a romantic date night at home, with delicious food and a pretty tablescape.
Inspired by all of the aforementioned, I planned an intimate dinner for two featuring a beautiful charcuterie appetizer, pan seared scallops, garlic roasted asparagus, and creamy cauliflower mash.
Now, on to my absolute favorite tablescape. I wanted the dinner to have a light and airy feel. Candles are an amazing way to achieve that romantic feel and look. I also included a sheer cream colored table runner, with a bit of greenery. This look was minimalist but definitely added to the vibe.
A few things you can add to create the desired ambiance: make sure the room smells amazing, be it by candles or another scent. Also, play a bit of music. I am absolutely obsessed with this Portuguese music I discovered. The name of the band is Ceu. I have absolutely no idea what they are saying but it sounds amazing.
